Very good point.  The CC and Ward watching - neither of these things would exist IMO if there weren't more to this story.  Were we not told that it was the defendants that insisted on the CC?

And, again, I'll suggest that if such a deal were made with the Js (await USPTO), similar deals may have been struck with DirecTV, Mattel, and other larger, recent licensees.  Even excluding the Js, these numbers seem weak unless there is something more....
