I disagree that the numbers are weak IF they exclude the J's.  In fact, in that scenario, the numbers would represent approx a 50% increase in license fees since the settlement based on the historical averages.

That being said, I'm not holding my breath that the J's are excluded.  I sure hope it's true, but I'll believe it only when it's stated by the company, and not until then.  It sure seems foolhardy from the TPL/PTSC perspective to settle a case, THE CASE, that you've been working on for 4 years, only to make it contingent on a process you don't control and that may not be determined for a lengthy period of time still.  I find that as frankly stupid lawyering, but by no means do I have any expertise in that area, so I'd love to be proven wrong.
