Interesting thought. If any of this is correct, your thought would seem to definitely be "a piece of the pie". I doubt it's all wrapped around the '584 alone (except for possible ARM influence on decisions).

These things do seem to be fitting together though. Remember the patent indemnification clauses that ARM stepped in to defend? That hook is still dangling in front of them. This could be a big component of the entire deal.
