I realize that the biggest problem with investing in penny stocks is that - for the more experienced investor- your basicaly placing 100 dollar bets at a 5 dollar table.
Yes its a lot of fun to play at the ametuer table especially when the cards fall your way.
Everybody's tipping the dealer and everybody's in love with everyone else.
All of a sudden the shoot starts to turn against you ( as the laws of probablity insist they should- and all the players start whinng and blaming the dealer.
I lost my focus and kept having fun with my 150K bet, I started with 30 and kept building and adding to this sure thing.
Origianlly I kept being professional and sold on runups and bought back on drops, but hey I wanted to be part of the crowd and was tired of being called a "pumper" or a "flipper"and so I signed up at teh door and checked my brains with teh concierge.
It's a valuble lesson and reminder that the stock price knows better that than the stockholder. In the face of a price falling from 94 cents to 38 cents after the settlement we all proclaimed victory in form or another and our puerile fantasies overcame maure experienced wisdom.
Part of me beleived that RR was one one the good guys even though deep down everything about his writing made me beleive he was part of the underworld.
Well for me it's a paper loss of 120k over the last few months and an out of pocket expense of about 25k.I'mprobably one of the lucky ones as some have placed their entire life savings _if they told the truth- into this fiasco.
Suyre it might turn out big, as far as current value I'm OK with a stcok earnig 4 cents and owing it at 28-31 cents but the next Q will tell us whether the 4-6 cents annual EPS is sustainable.
For now My position and risk is reduced the rest is locked up liek an ARS capable of paying an above average return but only if some liquiidity returns,
For now with 400mm shares to go and limited buyer interest teh value of PTSC might suffer under the crushing hand of illiquidity,
I need 25-30 million share day on the downside to clean this thing out. But when I go back in I play by my rules and stay on this side of the River Styx otherwise known as Agoracom
