Note also, in most/all news releases announcing deals in '08 they refer to the licensing as the X number since the settlement.

Why are they now counting them like that --- what is the difference between saying: this is the 43rd company to license MMP, vs. this is the 5th licensing since the settlement in December ???

Probably nothing ... just stuck out a little.
