There has been an influx of Personal Attacks and Off Topic content on this message board and as such numerous posts have been removed. The PTSC discussion board is to be used to discuss Patriot related topics only. There are many new investors, brokers, analysts etc. visiting this forum. Keeping the PTSC board on topic is of vital importance and beneficial to everyone.

Applying any uniform definition to our rules as to what will and will not be tolerated on any main discussion board would be a near impossible task. We could write a 20-page manual and there would still be discrepancies. This is especially true when you consider each member has their own level of tolerances. A "community standard" rule if you wish. As such we rely heavily on your discretion and are pleased that the majority of the posts here add more value to the PTSC community and we are obliged for your posts and overall contributions.

Apart from that there has also been a growing abuse of our violation system. We put this tool in place to help you combat abuse from bashers, spammers and malicious posters. The violation tool is not to be used as an expression of your feelings regarding any particular message or any poster. Someone brought up a great point that relevancy can depend on many factors such as your point of view, your level of knowledge and your areas of interest within PTSC.

We thought that was a great point, as it probably explains why some members can get impatient with discussion that others find valuable. Remember this next time you read a message or string of messages that do not appeal to you.

This HUB is a fluid environment of new and old, so there are times when you just have to sit back and watch it flow. In those cases where it appears the information is not of value to anybody, use the violation tool. In others where it appears a member is not of any value to you, move on to the next post or use the ignore feature.

Please try to keep your posts topics within our six rules of use, as well as relevant to Patriot Scientific or the general industry news. Please use the Off topic forum if you wish to discuss anything other than PTSC by clicking on the Off Topic forum button to your left.

AGORACOM admins are not here to police anyone as we firmly believe that our members are allowed to voice their opinions and discuss them with others without fear of repercussion.

If however a particular member steps outside our six golden rules, posts a message that is mildly provocative to another member or is soft bashing, for the benefit of our community that message will most likely be reported as a violation and upon review be removed by an AGORACOM admin.

Each day there are thousands of visitors viewing the Patriot Scientific main discussion board looking for valuable information about PTSC while conducting DD. We are respectful of our member’s contributions, and are privileged to have you within AGORACOM, however we will not allow any member to jeopardize the sanctity of our community regardless of their seniority.

We believe we have struck as close to a happy medium as possible. "We" refers to the partnership between AGORACOM and our great members. AGORACOM built a great platform and you continue to breathe life into it. Together, we continue to only make it better.
