Right now I'm standing right behind Borredo - so he can take the hits! LOL

My current (very) WAG:

The '148 is in the records room for final analysis against other patents/info - the final checks.

The '336 is basically done, and in the storage locker awaiting finalization of the integrated '148 by the examiner.

When the examiner gets done with the '148, the '336 will be pulled from storage/retention and both re-exams will be carried hand-in-hand to the pre-certificate review by several examiners because the two are so integrated and are being handled by the same examiner specialist.

Yup, I still suffer from those delusions! LOL

I KNOW of nothing "special" to support the above WAG. Only my review of that re-exam flow chart posted the other day - and THAT doesn't spell it out anywhere near as precisely as the above depicts. It's a WAG. Not even a SWAG!

I believe I have now stepped in front of Borredo (no need to thank me).

And to those that suggest that those of us with "theories" (e.g., my contingency theory) are "clueless" - might I suggest that we are actually "cluefull", and that's the problem. If we were truly "clueless", there wouldn't be an issue, there would be no room for "suspicions" or conjecture, and we would be forced to accept the apparent "reality". But clues abound, IMO. And, IMO, some of those clues point to something happening a la the above "soon".
