You are correct we are stuck in the loop of examiner requests back and forth etc etc...the location of the patents in Franconia and such really means nothing....more like the examiner using the files to check wording and for using them for specific claim items and terms....either way we are in a period of the 18-24 month term that most all reexams occur....the key one will be when you read that the examiner has issued a reexam cerificate...that signals the end usually..even though it does go to the review panel...then the "official" reexam ending is when its posted in Official Gazette 4-5 weeks later but that posting on the USPTO site of the issuance of a reexam certificate is the key.. Looking for the next 3-5 month period to end this reexam process.
