Kinda hard to argue it's an asset that's worth anything if you insist on never using them. Not trying to be argumentative, but if you're going to consider the preferreds an asset, you should open your mind just a little to the possibility that there might be a scenario to which they can be used to everyone's advantage. Otherwise they are worthless.
