Are we still very happy with the settlement resolution? How can Patriot be happy when it looks like we received "zilch"? Would it be possible to give some type of explanation without violating the NDA?

The USPTO contingency theory held "some" water. I don't think there's money or future money out there that we don't know about. If there was, RG could not have bought those shares without violating insider trading laws. An "I'll scratch your back" by issuing you a licence and you scratch mine (in some way) scenario would also violate insider trading rules.

Then again, stating that you're happy with a settlement and receiving much, much less than anticipated would also violate an SEC rule or two.

I don't think this is possible to make guesses.
