I hear what you're saying, and I too thought there must be some method of "cooperatively" doing these re-exams when two or more patents in question appear "integral" to eachother, e.g., '148 and '336. But per contact with the PTO yesterday, such is not the case. They look at them independently. Strange (IMO), but true. The conflict here, IMO, is the Group Art Unit - which I presumed was for such instances.
Feelin' fine this am.... Only thing is that it appears everything I own has been stolen, and replaced with exact duplicates! Amazing!
