I agree, TPL is in charge. FWIW, there is much credence to your 'settle and live to fight another day scenario' and I commend you thoughts on such, but I also contend there are unknowns remaining, (MOU, possible business resolution, rights under the MMP in the form of a license, overwhelming Markman, sweeping scope and strength of the MMP, revenue recognition policy.)

TPL could have settled weeks ago and saved a ton in legal fees but chose to carry the litigation to the steps of the courthouse only to cave. I'm still shaking my head on that one. So, I'm now to believe that the strategy all along was a bluff, hoping that the J's would 'blink' before going to trial. Fugitsu, Philips are looking smart right about now.

In my previous post I was trying to get to a point but was unable to at that time ....had a tee time and didn't want to be late. I got my priorities, you know.

Ronran garners enough respect and credibility by his own merit but chooses to include a statement revealing close contacts with PTSC and that there no more revenue from the j's. There was absolutely no reason to state that. It adds nothing to the credibility of the post. It only creates more doubt and conspiracy theories. At least in my mind it does. Maybe, I'm the only one but that really bothers me.
