I'm not sure that Judge Ward is "monitoring" the case. What his order states is this:
"The Court expressly retains jurisdiction for purposes of enforcing the Agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding, the terms of which are hereby incorporated by reference. The Agreement, which incorporates the Memorandum of Understanding, is attached hereto, under seal, as Exhibit A."
I take that to mean that if there were a situation whereby one of the parties to the settlement failed to perform, since this thing was settled via SEPARATE LICENSE AGREEMENTS with each unrelated defendant, rather than having to open up a new proceeding to contest breach of contract, JW was asserting his authority to enforce the adherence by each party to the settlement agreement.
Is there somewhere else where the term "monitoring" or some further oversight than is mentioned above, can be found? Thanks.
