Message: Q and A with Rick Goerner

<I thought the whole point of Patriot M&A was so that the company could finally let go of TPL's skirts and exist as an independent entity. Acquiring IP assets just so that TPL can handle the licensing negotiations is merely prolonging the status quo, it seems to me. I feel a letter to Goerner coming on. >

Initially agreed with that, but then thought - heck Alliance bulked up on personnel which I suspect we are paying for, even when things are slow. And who knows when they might pick up again? Adding more IP might be the thing to do, if you can handle it with the bodies already on board, hence lowering overall licensing cost. I assume any IP would be a 50/50 with TPL. I believe it was mentioned that TPL was instrumental in finding the IP possibilities PTSC was looking at. All IMHO. Opty
