With the current S/P it is becoming difficult to believe a positive USPTO ruling is imminent. If GE's timeline is correct then I certainly believe those in the know already have a good idea of the results. There are to many people involved and keeping a lid on the results would be, IMO, difficult. TPL has an entire staff of people who's jobs are riding on the USPTO outcome. We should be seeing some upward movement if positive action is near.
On the lighter side I believe our relationship with TPL is and will be more closely connected than at anytime in the past. We might as well accept the fact that TPL is our partner going forward. Dan Leckrone owns us plain and simple. Is that a bad thing long term, I'm not sure. The little blurb in yesterdays paper was, IMO, meaningless and to some degree embarrassing. How could it be embarrassing? I think that's become fairly obvious to anyone who's seen the information PTSC has provided for the last 2 years. We now have our 3rd CEO delivering the same rehearsed message. At this point Patriot would be better off to lay low and NOT put themselves out there for the public to chastise. The time to speak publicly will be when the message has real and quantitative information. I know, damned if you do and damned if you don't. I would assume the residents of San Diego chuckle when they see Patriots name in the paper. That reminds me, whatever happened to SanDiego Craig? IMO.
