Adding to what I previously said.
Review and response to arguments on the 148 is taking way too long. I believe the arguments are few, fairly simple and straight forward. Then it hit me. Joe Pokrzywa is reviewing the 148 and he was also reviewing the 336 before consolidation.
And when Joe was looking at the 749 divisional patents for patentably indistinguishable claims, he may have had some concerns about the ring oscillator claimed in the 148 in light of what he knew about the ring oscillator in the 336. If I remember correctly the 148 was in the record room a long time. It may have been brought in twice. Can anyone confirm that? So I think this is what may be holding up the 148 recertification. On the surface I do not see a major problem. But that does not mean there might not be. Need input from knowledgeable individuals as to whether there is anything to be concerned about.
