Where does this leave downstream users that have a license in hand? I assume it is tought luck for them. Opty

They licensed on the law as it was. Post Quanta, downstream users are covered by licensed chip manufacturers.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, response there is by the likes of Intel and AMD if the terms of the license only covered the manufacture of microprocessors.
