That is not to say they ruled decisively that such restrictions would be allowable, but that that was not the facts before the Court that day. LGE gave Intel an unrestricted right to make, use, or sell which the Court apparently deemed important enough to point out.

Draft the license carefully, and you're still in the post-sale game.
