I would say no based on the PR, "We have been able to substantiate much of the IP through initial silicon validation, with several devices in volume production through original equipment manufacturer customers."

I cannot see where you come to the apparent conclusion that NuPower somehow needs TPL. As I said, they'd already done a lot of what TPL would/could have done for them, but they obviously got it done by other means - either with internal expertise, or contracted expertise.
Do you understand what all is involved in preparing a patent application, the patent searches that should/must be performed prior to submitting the application, etc.? And, as you quote from NuPower, they have already "substantiated" the viability much of the IP, so they are also technically capable. Then add that they have apparently already licensed the tech to some OEMs. All these tasks required prior expertise simto what TPL offers. It's already done; so how you can say "no" just defies logic IMO. In other words, if TPL is essential in this arrangement, how did NuPower already accomplish all that they've already accomplished prior to this arrangement with PTSC, with zero TPL involvement?
Your "back-up" info doesn't support your position, IMO. Did you not see the 8K issued this morning?
Perhaps I should have stated my original proposition differently, and instead of asking "...isn't reasonable to assume....", I should have asked "...isn't it blatantly obvious....".
Sorry if I come off poorly here. But it seems no opinions are really needed to be inserted here (though I did it due to my personal sensitivities to such things). When something is obvious based on the facts/history, IMO it can be stated as fact. And the fact is that TPL involvement in this "exclusive" NuPower/PTSC endeavor is not essential, or even necessary or contemplated (and probably not even desired).
Now, tell me again what PTSC brings to the NuPower party beyond what I've suggested - a few people with influence/knowledge in the industry and CASH.
Again, pardon my writing style - but I don't know how to better get my points across. I'm really not trying to be nasty here....
