Tough day, huh? You poor guy. You had the best intention and, unfortunately it didn't work out too well. It was an honest mistake and you acknowledged it quickly. I think most people recognized what happen and just took an opportunity to have a little fun with you. I would take take that as a sign of respect and genuine feeling of good will to you. Be well!
