Can't argue with your reasoning.

If I have 3 tracks of land (10 acres of swamps, 200 acres of forests, 4000 acres of nice rolling green pastures) and all were posted with signs stating 'Trespassers of PxP property will be prosecuted and fined', then, I believe that the violators could be fined for trespassing the 10 acres of swamp land just as easily and as much as if they had trespassed on the other 2 tracks.

Not a good analogy but that’s my way of thinking. May not work in the IP infringement world but I would think it would apply.
