I think the author was poining out that the BOD have earned "a lot" of money while not doing much more than sitting on their hands and watch the share price dive. What exactly have they done/ what are they doing to earn this compensation? It seems like RG is the one calling the shots and making the moves and calling for better communication. Since the retail SHers have taken a huge loss, they should "at least" decline their salaries for that period. The full timers are obviously a different story.
