I don't think so. If by broad reaching you mean it applies to Bosch shocks or their dryers, no. Bosch is a huge company with 300+ subsidiaries. There are plenty of products that would be considered "normal" for MMP licensees. And they have a lot of automotive business but they are not strictly an "automotive related company."

For example: A hypothetical company makes tires, coffee mugs, and digital radios. They sign up for a license. Does one assume that tires and coffee mugs now fall under the scope of the patents or that they are licensing strictly for their digital radios?

Bosch is more of the same. Or at least not substantially different.
