Someone owning a piece of the company is consistently selling into good news. Given our daily volume it doesn't even take a big share holder to sink the SP.
But no one would want to get less for their shares than they can get in a few weeks or months. It doesn't make sense. This is the most troubling issue for me. Why are the sellers willing to part with shares so cheaply while using the classic technique of selling into good news to prevent an even bigger SP decline? This generally would mean they have much more to sell.
On the buyers side, PTSC can't lose by buying back their stock. If all the patent rulings come out totally unfavorable the company will fail anyway - but not because of stock buybacks. On the other hand, if the rulings are favorable PTSC stands to do very well with the buyback shares soring in value - think M&A.
I hope they are buying and buying - on margin if possible. They have nothing to lose.
