Please correct me if I'm wrong but it makes sence to me that if TPL puts a company on notice of infringement and that company decides to try to wait out the patent life. I would think that the infringing company is still liable for past infringement and therefore money could be collected by TPL beyond the life of the patents. Therefore as long as TPL identifies companies that infringe before the patents expire, the collection could go on as long as it takes. This I don't know for sure but maybe someone that does know for sure could post varification.
