I think that some true statements have been made in that argument so far. Let me take for example this one by B-Lunist:

The shareprice only matters when you buy or when you sell. The rest of the time it just plays with your emotions in both directions (my add-on) (if you let it). Don't you consider this to be anywhere near reality? I for one couldn't have agreed more with it.

Or here another one:

True confidence does not let the day to day price cause a person to worry. Let me interpret why I think this to be absolutely true. Firstly, because true confidence is not at all based on the shareprice but on the facts both on the contemporary and the expected ones and secondly, because you almost never find a shareprice which reflects the exact value of a company. I guess this philosophy was the one to make Mr Warren Buffet the one he is now. Btw. I think that PTSC has many investors who didn't invest because they did enough in-depth DD but more invested because of the shouting and hyping by others. Those are like the "reed shaken with the wind" whereby the wind can be taken for the shareprice.

Your presumption might apply to one or the other half-confident reed but not to fact based investors. Yes, those might not be buying every day day in day out but I guess they are buying because someone is buying.

Yes I'm with you that no one here feels really warm and fuzzy about the SHAREPRICE including myself (even though I think there are some people who feel very good about the current pps).

But what do you mean by too many things? Are there some hard facts that could be calculated as to make one feel really uncomfortable? I haven't found those so far.

Those who are skeptical right now, have a right to be, those who are seeing nothing but blue sky and roses, they have that right to be also, based on some of the communication were getting. I agree with you everyone has the right to have his or her views but you and I have to balance those views with the scale of reason.
