Mark, I see your post after I posted mine and it is in line with what I was thinking as well. I think the parties may have come to an agreement in the face to face meeting but due to the complexity of the patent issues the examiner wanted Moore to put in writing his clarification/modifications which would make it easier for the examiner in my view to make the necessary paperwork changes.
