If nobody is selling.. then the ask moves up.... alot of traders/ shareholders sell on the news... when there is alot of supply... ask drops. since this pattern pretty much holds every time... many trade accordingly.

Right now... there arent much sellers... thus buyers are forced to up their buying price (ASK)... (bid is raised to entice some sellers to sell)
