You very well could be correct, that the MMP may be licensed for vast sums to keep this company in the news...but when our own CEO's presentation package to prospective investors/funds/etc.etc. shows the MMP at 1/3 of our revenues for future income, that tells me something different. Yes we may hit on some good licensing dollars when this package of patents gets through the PTO...but if we ever want to be taken seriously and get off the BB with a good following of anxious wannabe investors it won't be the MMP licensing that does that ,and RG realizes this IMO.
Patent licensing is too unpredictable and the rev's fluctuate too much. Trials could hold up other prospective licensees and with all the NDA's attached to these licenses no one can determine for sure what we get for each one...or if was an acceptable amount or even if we left too much money on the table..,
Like I've opined before...we will get a bump from the reexams, but that will not last until we can show decent numbers on a continual basis, which is hard for licensing, and when the new ventures start showing not only profit but predictable profit...that, as his pie chart shows is the "meat and potatoes" of the company. that's what will drive us to better PPS and eventually off the BB.
One thing we've found out over the last 8-12 months is that announcing licenses with no details due to NDA's and waiting 3 months or more for their inclusion in results got us nowwhere with regards to the PPS.
RG is taking us down the right path and when these reexams are done I still expect licenses to come but not with vast sums attached to them...I do expect though to see a lot more of them in the same comparable quarterly periods on a year to year basis...then more investment of some companies we may be in already and some newer ones too..hopefully with some details in the future that will explain to the world what we expect in terms of EPS on an ongoing basis..
We may get there but it is going to take a little longer than most of us hoped for...JMHO
