Core portfolio and MMP

From TPL's site.

<US'148: On-Chip Oscillator and Embedded Memory

Shares the on-chip oscillator feature with US'336, in addition to memory covering more than majority of chip. Also includes claims pertaining to multiple CPU, array or cell implementations. The vast majority of the SoC and flash microcontroller products are affected. >

From that one might ask if Core Flash portfolio licensees are necessarily infringing on the 148, but getting a free pass? I think RG needs to address this topic of concern somehow. As I understand the agreement, TPL can use the MMP in any products they offer. But if there is no relationship to the product (flash IP) other than infringement, then that is not in keeping with the agreement IMHO. I think RG needs to address/define/clarify what is the agreement with respect to TPL's IP licensing and MMP licensing. IMHO Opty
