Well I know I was the first to keep harping on this board about the ARS issue. I stopped posting about it after several people asked me to. My contact hasn't changed his opinion on the situation. He still believes that many holders of the student loan vehicles may not get par value. His company just repurchased another round of municipal ARS's for $.65 on the dollar. Those are the more valuable of the ARS vehicles. I have two relatives stuck in the ARS debacle. One is with UBS the other JP Morgan. The one holding the UBS investment just got his money back. The one holding through JP Morgan was told it could be several more months. Funny how things always seem to come full circle to that damned old "dividend" issue. Oh well.......
