PTSC Software products are also well positioned for the Data Center. Let’s take Crossflow for example… We know that PTSC (vis a vis Crossflo) is engaged in several areas including the “Fusion Center” effort. Fusion Centers (with over 40 already built) have connectivity to collect and disseminate appropriate levels of information with every police, sheriff, fire, EMS, county public health, transportation, and private sector agency within a region. If Crossflo is good enough for US Govt security…, it will have no difficulty adapting for private enterprise security within the booming Data Center space. Cloud Computing and the Data Center present many security challenges to large entities (like the US Government, Insurance, Hospitals, etc). As these Data Centers (Fusion Centers) are built, these organizations will require the ability to quickly and effectively share data, in all forms, in a secure and collaborative manner—this is where we introduce Crossflo’s Innovative Data Sharing Platform.
Oh! And let’s not forget, HP is also one of Crossflo’s strategic partners!! In my last post, did I mention that HP is a player in the Data Center space? Yes, they are a player…the combined HP/EDS recently scored an $800 million dollar Data Center deal with the US Govt. One should not be surprised if some of these HP/US Govt dollars were to reach the likes of Crossflo. And yes... there is that Fusion Center win to be announced shortly by PTSC. Activities are ramping up IMHO!
