NeoMedia has a nice little patent. Using the camera phone, they take a picture of a bar code and the user is directed to a particular website. Simple, but interesting applications when you delve into it. Great advertising and marketing device.

Right now they have outstanding shares up the wahoo, so maybe there is a buy situaton if they go belly-up.
