When the spread is close... that means there is plently of action on both sides........usually the bid will push the ask to uptick. i love tight spreads...

the spread widens when either side is starting to dry up... the MM is not sure which direction the SP might go and is doing their best to hedge on the action.

There is alot of selling because this stock has plenty of shares on the markets..... millions of shares that people got for next to nothing..eg. warrants. very little demand or interest right now....... many people just in holding pattern..
