When I asked Leckrone the question at the SHM, it was because his presentation boasted that they were able to disassemble the code on a potentially infringing chip, so that there would be no doubt how the chip processes data during negotiations. The slide used an ARM chip, which I thought was weird since we lost claim 29 regarding positioning or “right justification”. I asked Leckrone if he purposely used an ARM chip in his presentation for a reason, because I thought it was weird that here he is boasting that they understand how a chip processes data, however, it doesn’t appear they understood how the ARM chip processed data as revealed with the current standing on the ‘584. He responded, “You must be referencing claim 29, right?” To which I replied, “Yes”. He replied, “I admit, we are not in very good shape with the ‘584, but ARM chips infringe on our other patents”.
Good luck to you, me, us, and all longs.
