They will give you an opinion - But it will be an EDUCATED opinion - based on knowing the laws and similar experiences.

A patent/litigation attorney may also be able to tell you exactly why one of our opinions "can't" be correct.

They would certainly be able to tell you all about insider trading and where the line is drawn.
