5 years is a lifetime for software. If we have a solution, it will happen much sooner than that (12-24 months would be my guess.) If we do have a good product, it could happen much sooner. If it drags on for 2 years it's a dud. IMO
I tend to ageree with you and we should be looking to the Crossflo/iameter marriage as a real possibility for revenue. In dollars how much..well..
Est. show it costs a doctor about $36,000 to convert from paper records to an online easily accessible and even more importantly cross-referenced system for medical records. problem being your primary doctor may use one system, your specialist another and then add in the hospitals maybe using a third and you can see the problem if they can't be interwoven for access.
iameter provides the system for the medical field and Crossflo adds the ability to interaccess...it could be a great winner for us...esp. if the new administrations heavy push to get our medical system in order is approved and funds to assist the doctors to do this is allocated....That adds up to alot of money...and IMO if approved...in the very near future.
Now take a look at a hospital updating cost...as an example...the hospital at Kansas university...KU hopsital is in the midst of a 5 year upgrade to get all records online...paperless basically...whats the cost....????
The KU Hospital is in the second stage of a five-year, $51 million transition to all electronic records.

So it is starting to take hold and we do have competition...hopefully the iameter system and the addition of Crossflo's software for integration will make us a real competitor in the field....IMO this is where our big $$$$$$$$ will come from, if we succeed. So if you want to write your congressman about anything write to him/her about approving any assistance funds they can to get to these doctors and hospitals online as quickly as possible.
