It would seem that the German Re-examination process is much farther along than the USPTO. I have a couple of questions regarding consequences of this ruling.

1) Where does the German Federal courts jurisdiction end? I know that seems ridiculous at first,( Germany of course) but how does that affect German Manufactures exporting to the U.S. If we have a sales office in Germany can we collect royalties on exports to the U.S., or even other countries?

2) Does the World Trade Commission, or any World regulatory body have anything to do with patents. It would seem very time consuming if you had to sue in each country for those infringing our patents?

3) Are there any proceedings ongoing in other countries?

4) I don't recall ever seeing in a 10Q, or 10K any mention of any litigations in Germany, or that the patents had been challenged. Was this an ongoing issue from several years in the past?

5) We have a sales office in France, have the patents been re-examined in that country?
