I think the J's settlement was about sales by the j's in the U.S only. Now what is of interest to me is how does the German settlement effect sales of German products to the U.S. Can we now license for royalities on German exports to the U.S. kind of a reverse strategy. Since the USPTO decision is not final we arn't not licenseing imports to the U.S., but can we not license exports to the U.S. from Germany? Very interesting.
