The date for our patent in the German court was 1989. The U.S patent date for the 336 was 1995 I believe. (just going by memory) Perhaps the dates are significant for prior art issues and obviousness.

I believe the work that Tanimura did was in 1985, so it preceeded Moores work. (Someone can recheck his patent number.) IMO Moore will have to solve that issue for us. With regards to USTPO anyway.
