UPDATE: Yesterday, Qualcomm announced a settlement of all its disagreements with Nokia. Under the new agreement, each company will have access to the other's patents; Nokia will transfer several patents to Qualcomm, which may help the company in its future legal battles. Qualcomm will also receive a single payment up front, and continuing royalties, presumably at a level closer to that preferred by Nokia
