TPL decided they want an actual German patent. Although in most cases it is very similar to the EPO patent, ownership, validity, and infringement, are determined independently under respective national law. Therefore, Germany required us to summit our patent to the very prestigious Munich Patent Court for a validity review (an examination to see if we were qualified with respects to German patent law) where we just received our German patent
