All of us are frustrated because we expected this thing to take off based on the MMP. Unfortunately for us the USPTO re-examination has put the brakes on for licenses. Like it or not that's where we are.
Would I like to have the $330K I've invested in this stock back. You bet I would. But at the same time I realize that the MMP still may produce like we all hoped if the USPTO re-examination is favorable.
RG made it clear that he would not share any details concerning the MMP with us. At this point with the MMP in question, I like what he is doing with what he can control and not just twittling his thumbs like past PTSC CEO's.
I believe because TPL has the responsibility of licensing the MMP, per the agreement between PTSC and TPL, PTSC cannot talk about the MMP as if they are the sole owners of the patents. Like it or not TPL is calling the shots on the MMP and RG's hands are tied. I think most of us here feel that TPL was better qualified and staffed to pursue the licensing activities. I feel that past management from PTSC would have probably screwed that up too. I feel RG is probably being informed as to what is going on with licensing efforts but all is hush hush. And any tidbit of information on the MMP we get is probably what TPL has approved RG to say.
Now we can all stew in why we're not getting more information and why the licensing activity has basically stopped. We've had some good news recently that the patents are sound in Germany. What that means is unclear but we know it's not a bad thing and to me that at least in Germany, TPL should be able to start nailing down some licenses and that is good. So we need to give this some time to develope. Besides licensing potential in Germany, we all know that until the USPTO completes the re-examiantion process we probably arn't going anywhere with the SP.
Is this frustrating to wait for the USPTO? Absolutely but that's where we are folks. I don't see how it gets any clearer than that right now.
Hang in there!
All the best,
Steve
