The thing that seems to be going un-noticed or at least un-hearalded is, is that the way I read it, the Examiner has essentially agreed that this amended claims language will resolve the outstanding issues. If that's correct, it seems we're weeks away from a revalidation of the 584. While perhaps not the most important patent, I hope that a positive USPTO decision will help spark the pps a bit, if that's indeed what the USPTO is on the verge of.
