Anticipation is the key. But investors have actuals to guide them and in part set their expectations. What was last Q's EPS? How has this Q's (DEC - FEB) license sales been doing? These indicators, as much as anything, affect investor expectations and give them some feeling for what our next Q report (in April) will be.
