I'm no expert but it looks to me like it's just a matter of defining more specifically the "processing unit" that is discussed in the '148 which would differentiate from the "processing unit" discussed in the prior art of Kajigaya and Tanimura.

...and if this is done the examiner would reconsider the cited rejections.
