From the VERY little I know about this, I agree with you. I assume and hope that this will get straightened out when the appeal is filed. I base that on the hope that all other extraneous details will be left out so that only this discrepancy will be focused on and thereby illuminate the obviousness of the error in the examiner's conclusions.
