While I certainly remain hopeful of the possibility, I don't profess to know enough about international patent law to really gauge the relevance. It would seem that USPTO rulings would carry significant weight in the international community. The U.S. is still the innovator of the world and most international companies want their patents solidified here. I know Germany certainly speaks from a position of strength but, how does that stack up against the U.S.? Once again I would turn to our leadership to explain the relevance of Germany, which thus far, they have not. Perhaps we know why now?
