You ONLY pay the nuisance fee when you believe that there is a very good chance that you might lose.........

I disagree.... companies had to weight out the different options on the table and decide whats best path. Cost vs Future Cost/Consequence....Some took risker moves--- some may have taken the cheapest route...

Paying 1 million for the fee might have been cheaper than trying to take this court and have 5 million in legal fees... ( the company could have been 99% sure they would win... but decided that paying and being done with it was a better method of using their resourses...

Now would be interesting if the 53 companies would be willing to stand and support PTSC/TPL.... knowing that their competitors have not signed for the license.......
