From what I've read the examiner did not openly accept our position but did ask for more time to consider our arguments and their back-up details....without committing to anything on those claims.

Remember though I am taking my opinion and info from the applicant summary of the interview with the examiner...not the amendment piece. IMO the amendment was used on specific wording and claims other than those two in question on the interview summary...just an opinion though for what its worth...a lot of the pages with specifics on them are not open for perusal.
